VMware vSphere 6.0 with the new Virtual Volumes (VVol) storage architecture is in the market since one month now. Many vendors are working on the new technlogy and have announced to support VVols for their storage arrays. This post takes a look on the current status and what vendors are supported today:
HP was one out of four vendors with day one VVol support. The high-end flash optimized storage 3PAR StoreServ is currently the only product ready for VVol.

Feel free to comment or contact me when there is any misinformation, or there are any vendors missing.
VVol support for DataCore SANsymphony-V will be released next week with version 10 PSP4. This will bring VVol support to ALL storage hardware from ALL storage vendors behind DataCore.
Thank's for the update. I'm going to take a look at it.
